Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 2 continues straight after what happened in Part 1 without any moment to spare, the action starts right away and doesn’t seem to end. Here is our full Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 2 Review.
This season aired in the Winter 2022 anime season. Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 2 was animated by MAPPA, also known for Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man.
I’ve not seen many Mecha anime other than Attack on Titan, but even after all these seasons, this Flesh Mecha seems to just keep on being great and the action just doesn’t stop. Just like most Mecha anime, it’s very political, and that’s also where this season is kinda losing me at points. The characters seem to switch alliances so many times that they are just creating the biggest evils just to take them down straight after.
The story itself is honestly kinda forgettable with its details, where it truly shines are the fights, seeing these massive flesh mecha’s going toe to toe with each other is a sight to behold and makes for some unique experience.

The art style feels like Attack on Titan for sure, but at some moments it can feel a bit strange, and if you have been on Twitter around the time of this release, I’m sure you have seen some screencaps flying around due to them just being meme-worthy material. But I personally thought it didn’t look as good when things are supposed to be serious, and just like its story, all the amazing-looking things were in the fights that were happening in about 80% of the season.
I really liked the season for what it is, but when the season just jumped into it in the 1st episode without a bit of recap, and also the ending of the season just being a bit abrupt, it just feels like the middle of the season, nothing extremely special because it didn’t have a clear beginning and end.
