The anime started airing in the Summer 2018 anime season. Working Buddies! No 2! is animated by Tomovies.
The 2nd season of Working Buddies! is more or less exactly the same as the 1st one, but in some ways, it’s a lot less fun. What I expected from the ending of the 1st season was some more character development and going a bit more into that side of the anime, but instead, we got to explore jobs again.
During this season they had a lot more annoying characters that were new, like the locksmith. Some of the returning characters were nice to see but overall, the inclusion of the newer ones was a bit of a setback as well.
They had this strange live-action episode and I absolutely hated it. It didn’t feel like an episode of this series, nothing was recognizable in any way and it could have just been a side short instead of something from the main series. this episode could have honestly been anything if the yellow koala didn’t show up because that was the only thing that I recognized.
